Concrete Cancer Repair prices in Wollongong

This page gives no price band, because no government source states what concrete cancer repair costs and a figure from a sales page would be the seller's number, not yours. It shows where NSW's rules attach to the value of a job, and what to ask before a quote is accepted.

What changes a quote

First is how far the steel has corroded: UNSW says rust takes up more room than the steel it formed from, so the damage beneath a patch can be bigger than the patch. Second is access, since a balcony or landing on an apartment block is reached differently from a step at ground level. Third is whether a design is needed: class 2 remedial building work needs a design from a registered design practitioner.

Lines a government body sets

The checker below lists each rule with its source and read date. Above A$5,000 the contractor needs a NSW contractor licence and the owner must have a written contract; above A$20,000 the home building compensation cover rule applies. No council fee is listed, because no fee for this work was read on a government page.

Costs and fees by service

No price is shown for any service on this site, and this site sets none. The dollar figures in the checker are thresholds set by government bodies. None is a quote for your job.
